The trouble with travelling is changing your mind
Sydney. It's taken me ten months to get here, and I'm not staying. Not content with travelling half way around the world, (thrice) I'm off to Bali for a month. The decisive factors:
1. It's freezing
2. Rigormortos is setting in
3. The wind chill factor is eroding my suntan
I've been staying with my uncle and Mum, blowing the fuses by having all the heaters plugged in. All was fine until we awoke the following morning in full battle against frostbite. We spent the next two hours with legs crossed under the duvets because it was too cold to investigate the fuse box outside. We have been to the Opera, and had to rouse Mum from her snoring slumber. And of course shopping expeditions each day to satiate my craving, incase I didn't get enough retail therapy in the States.
The next three days will be spent on a train from Sydney to Perth and then on a paper airplane (Indonesians own and the cheapest) to Bali, landing in the middle of the night for good measure. Always such good timing.
